Refrigerator Repair — Book a Visit Today
We repair home refrigerators, and if yours is warm you can call us and we'll set a time. A fridge rarely quits all at once. It hums louder, ice cream softens, and then one morning the milk is warm and dinner plans change. Out here dust and hard water are tough on condenser coils, fans, and water lines, and summer heat makes a struggling compressor work double. We see failed defrost heaters, iced-over evaporators, worn door gaskets, bad start relays, clogged drain tubes, and control boards that lost their mind. The visit is simple: we listen to what you noticed, check temps in both compartments, pull the panel, and test parts instead of guessing. Then we tell you plain what we found. Evening and weekend windows are workable.

The refrigerator symptoms we hear most
- Fridge side is warm but the freezer is rock hard Blocked evaporator airflow, an iced-up coil, or a dead circulation fan
- There's water pooling under the crisper drawers Plugged defrost drain tube, or a torn door gasket letting humid air in
- It clicks every few minutes and never gets cold Start relay or compressor circuit failing to launch
- Ice maker dumps hollow cubes, or nothing at all Water inlet valve, a scaled-up fill line, or a stuck ice mold heater
- Motor runs nonstop and the kitchen side feels hot Dust-caked condenser coils, a weak condenser fan, or a sealed-system leak
Safe things to check first
Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.
- 1Pull the fridge out and look at the coils underneath or in back for a blanket of dust and pet hair.
- 2Close the door on a dollar bill in a few spots and see if it slides out with no drag.
- 3Make sure the temperature dials or display weren't bumped, and confirm nothing is blocking the vent inside.
- 4Check that the outlet has power by testing it with a lamp or phone charger, and reset the breaker once if it tripped.

Homeowners on how the visit went

Renee W.Stockton, CA“No upsell talk at all. He fixed the drain pump and pointed out a hose I should watch, that was it.”
Jeff D.Reno, NV“The scheduler actually listened to the symptoms and sent the guy with the right parts.”
Priya N.Gilbert, AZRefrigerator Repair — quick answers
My refrigerator is cold but noisy. Should I wait it out?
Noise usually means a fan blade hitting ice or a bearing wearing down. Neither one improves on its own. Getting it looked at while the box still cools is easier than dealing with a full defrost and spoiled food later.
How long can food stay safe if the fridge quits?
Keep the doors shut and most refrigerated food holds roughly four hours. A full freezer holds longer. Move what you can into coolers with ice, and toss meat or dairy that climbed above 40 degrees.
Does hard water really hurt a refrigerator?
It does. Mineral scale builds inside fill valves, tubing, and ice molds, which slows water flow and leaves cubes small or hollow. Filter changes help. Once scale sets in hard, sometimes the valve or the line has to be replaced.
Do you work on built-in and counter-depth models?
Yes. Built-ins, column units, side-by-sides, French doors, and basic top-freezers all come through our schedule. Built-ins need more care coming out of the cabinet, so tell us the layout when you call us and we'll plan for it.
Is it worth repairing an older refrigerator?
Depends on what failed. A relay, fan, thermostat, or gasket is usually sensible work. A sealed-system leak in a fifteen-year-old unit is a different conversation. We tell you what we found and let you make the call.
Why does frost keep coming back inside my freezer?
Frost buildup points to the defrost system: a heater, thermostat, or timer that stopped cycling. A leaky door seal adds moisture too. Defrosting it by hand clears things for a while, then the frost returns until the failed part gets swapped.
How it works
- Step 1
Tell us what it's doing
Ring us or fill in the form, and describe the noise, the smell, the error code and the brand. Small details help us load the right parts before we ever knock on your door.
- Step 2
We come look
Our tech tests the machine instead of guessing. You hear what failed and why, in plain words. Then you decide whether repairing it makes sense or replacing it makes more sense.
- Step 3
Repair and retest
Approved work gets done, often on the same visit. We run a full cycle before packing up, wipe down the area, then show you what changed so nothing surprises you next week.

Why homeowners call us
- We know hard waterValley water leaves scale on everything, and we see it in clogged dishwasher jets and crusted washer valves. Water heaters groan, too. We check for mineral buildup out of habit, because around here it's usually part of the story.
- Swing-shift friendlyNot everybody is home at ten in the morning. We schedule around night shifts and split shifts, and around long commutes. Tell us the window that actually works for your household and we'll aim for it.
- Independent, not steeredNobody pays us to push a brand. We service all major makes as an independent shop, so our advice on repair versus replace comes from what we saw inside your machine.
- Straight talk on old unitsSome appliances aren't worth another part. We'll say so. If a repair is likely to buy you real time, we'll say that too, and let you pick from there.
- All major brands, gas & electricFrom Whirlpool and GE to Samsung, LG, Bosch and KitchenAid, serviced independently.
- Straight answersIf it isn't worth repairing, we'll say so, often right on the phone.
