Stove & Range Repair — Book a Visit Today
Stoves quit in small ways first. A burner that clicks and clicks. An oven that runs cool, so the casserole sits pale in the middle. A control panel that goes dark mid-bake. Gas ranges usually point to igniters, valves, or a tired spark module. Electric and glass-top units lean toward burned elements, cracked infinite switches, or a relay board that gave up. Our visit starts with your story, then we test the parts that actually carry current or gas. We show you what we found before anything gets swapped. Evening and weekend windows work for swing-shift households. If your range is acting strange, call us and tell us what it does and when.

The stove & range symptoms we hear most
- "My burner clicks but won't light" Spark igniter, clogged burner port, or a wet cap after cleaning
- "The oven runs cold no matter what I set" Failed bake element, weak gas igniter, or a drifting temperature sensor
- "Glass top burner stays on high" Shorted infinite switch or a stuck surface element relay
- "Whole display went dark during dinner" Blown control board, tripped breaker leg, or loose main terminal connection
- "I smell gas near the range" Loose supply fitting or valve seal — shut it off and call for help
Safe things to check first
Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.
- 1Verify the breaker for the range hasn't tripped, and reset it once.
- 2Pull off burner caps and grates, then check the small slots for dried spills or scale.
- 3Confirm the oven isn't stuck in Sabbath, delay start, or a leftover timer mode.
- 4Look behind the range for a kinked gas line or a power cord that slipped loose.
How it works
- Step 1
Tell us what it's doing
Ring us or fill in the form. Give us the noise, the smell, the error code, the brand. Small details help us load the right parts before we ever knock on your door.
- Step 2
We come look
Our tech tests the machine instead of guessing. You hear what failed and why, in plain words. Then you decide whether repairing it makes sense or replacing it makes more sense.
- Step 3
Repair and retest
Approved work gets done, often the same visit. We run a full cycle before packing up, wipe down the area, and show you what changed so nothing surprises you next week.

Stove & Range Repair — quick answers
Is a gas smell an emergency?
Treat it that way. Shut the gas valve behind or below the range, open windows, skip light switches, and step outside. Call your gas utility first. Once they clear the home, reach us and we'll handle the appliance side.
Why does one burner light but the others don't?
On many gas ranges, all burners share a spark module. If only one fails, the trouble is usually local — a fouled port, a cracked electrode, or moisture. If none light, we look upstream at the module or the wiring feeding it.
Can you fix a cracked glass cooktop?
The glass itself is replaced, not repaired. We check whether the crack reached the element wiring underneath, since that changes the job. Some cooktops have available replacement glass; older models may not. We tell you what we find before ordering anything.
My oven bakes unevenly. Is that fixable?
Often, yes. Uneven baking usually traces to a weak element, a convection fan that stopped turning, a worn door gasket letting heat escape, or a sensor reading off. We test actual cavity temperature against the setting rather than guessing.
Do you work on both gas and electric ranges?
Both, plus dual-fuel and slide-in models. We're an independent shop and service all major brands. Tell us the brand and roughly how old the range is when you call us, and we'll bring likely parts on the truck.
Should I repair or replace an older range?
Depends on the part and the condition of the rest of the unit. A single element or igniter on a solid range is worth doing. A failed board on a unit with rusted burners and a sagging door is a harder call. We'll lay out both paths.

Why homeowners call us
- We know hard waterValley water leaves scale on everything. Clogged dishwasher jets, crusted washer valves, water heaters that groan. We check for mineral buildup as a matter of habit, because around here it's usually part of the story.
- Swing-shift friendlyNot everybody is home at ten in the morning. We schedule around night shifts, split shifts, and long commutes. Tell us the window that actually works for your household and we'll aim for it.
- Independent, not steeredNobody pays us to push a brand. We service all major makes as an independent shop, so our advice on repair versus replace comes from what we saw inside your machine.
- Straight talk on old unitsSome appliances aren't worth another part. We'll say so. If a repair is likely to buy you real time, we'll say that too, and let you pick from there.
- All major brands, gas & electricWhirlpool, Samsung, LG, GE, Maytag, Bosch, KitchenAid and more — as an independent repair company.
- Straight answersIf it isn't worth repairing, we'll say so — often on the phone.
